Did this country not need to be destroyed?
Over my lifetime, people would share their beliefs that our country was being destroyed. When I would ask for clarification, it seemed most people were judging our wealth – or rather their perceived loss of our wealth – as the indication of our destruction.
This is not including those bigoted folks – yes white & male – who judged our downfall in relationship to the perceived rise in womyn’s rights, lesbian rights, Black & brown rights, etc.
And of course, there’s always been the paranoid, gas-lighting powerful spell of fear that especially Black or brown or Muslim or Jews were going to invade & destroy our country.
And of course some of those believed their god would come & destroy us.
I confess, especially during times like now, I myself fantasize about Mother Earth & all her Goddesses rising up, taking back power from the incredibly violent forces that shaped & still obviously shape our country.
I doubt any of those I spoke with back then fathomed other countries would be the force that could destroy amerikkka.
But now people are fearing we are being destroyed by NATO’s refusal to support us, by Iran threatening retaliation, by Israel continuing to use our military gifts to bomb Lebanon.
And maybe most of all, by tRump & his cabinet revealing the heinous truths about amerikkka.
tRump is just the blatant visual leader & front of the horrific racist, white supremacist, anti-human, anti-Mother Earth part of our country that arrived in the 1400’s and continues to thrive throughout our history.
What is being destroyed is the propaganda shield of we’re the greatest country in the world, that we have spread by bullying and domination, around the world masking the evil that has & still is driving our country.
The energy that allowed the genocide of Native people, the enslavement of African people, the murder of hundred’s of thousands of humans at once with the aromic bomb, the continued exploitation & looting of Black & brown countries, the immense destruction of Mother Earth for monetary profit.
That has immensely profited from being at war against someone every single year of our existence – except maybe 17.
These are the ‘elements’, the energies that need to be destroyed. And maybe are being uncloaked and destroyed.
