Work 4 Peace,Hold All Life Sacred,Eliminate Violence! I am on my mobile version of the door-to-door, going town-to-town holding readings/gatherings/discussions of my book “But What Can I Do?” This is my often neglected blog mostly about my travels since 9/11 as I engage in dialogue and actions. It is steaming with my opinions, insights, analyses toward that end of holding all life sacred, dismantling the empire and eliminating violence while creating the society we want ALL to thrive in.

An immigrant from Algeria approached me outside my truck this morning, smiled broadly at me, telling me, with a hand over his heart, that my messages painted on my truck gives him hope. We then got to talk
I’ve been doing anti-racism work for a very long time. My journey to becoming committed to anti-racism work began in 1968 with the murder of Martin Luther King Jr. I was a senior in high school, feature co-editor of our school paper, thinking there were two Black students in the entire school, when banging on the office door
I’m envisioning the new message I intend to paint on the back of my RRB, as soon as I get the funds together to replace 4 of the back door panels. I repaint the back only and often, reflecting the current state of our union. I hate painting over Kamala and my welcome messages in many languages but specifically to Haitian refugees, to counter tRump’s racist
MILLIONS took to the streets today to begin and continue taking back our democracy & government with the promise of returning & staying out in the streets until WE WIN! There were hundreds of thousands of people in
The voices of womyn are finafuckinly becoming ‘stronger’…i.e. more womyn are refusing to be silenced and are speaking up. One of the ‘successes’ of the fuckin dominant trans agenda has been to ensure that a mere dialogue about their impact on womyn has been not only silenced but actually punished – by recent laws passed, by gaslighting, by firing people standing up for womyn’s rights, etc. So I was very very very thrilled
I’m so very fortunate to have found a wonderful veggie oil guy in Arizona who will fill up my 300 gallon tank this morning so I will not have to run to my treasured home base, Berkeley, on diesel. I’ve just made it to Arizona with maybe 5 gallons of veg oil left to spare. In addition to being a veg oil guy, he’s not the typical white guy
I can’t help it and I’ll probably kill myself one day trying to capture the most amazing sunsets while driving….not such a great idea but I do it. I should pull over somewhere, get out and take the pics. But I’m on a mission tonite, a veg oil mission and a get to California mission. I want to go to my home base, pick up the donations
I often take pics out my cab window, wanting to capture the beauty I see but also being on a schedule, not having time to pull over and stop somewhere to focus on taking that picture. So this is the sky I saw going almost 60 mph today

I was able to start driving earlier this morning, as the temperature was over 40 by 9a.m. Still no deep interactions with anyone, although I am moving pretty quickly. I want to make it to the Bay to get my truck smogged in time to leave California and be back in Atlanta by the 4th of January. Then I’m hoping
