Work 4 Peace,Hold All Life Sacred,Eliminate Violence! I am on my mobile version of the door-to-door, going town-to-town holding readings/gatherings/discussions of my book “But What Can I Do?” This is my often neglected blog mostly about my travels since 9/11 as I engage in dialogue and actions. It is steaming with my opinions, insights, analyses toward that end of holding all life sacred, dismantling the empire and eliminating violence while creating the society we want ALL to thrive in.

I often take pics out my cab window, wanting to capture the beauty I see but also being on a schedule, not having time to pull over and stop somewhere to focus on taking that picture. So this is the sky I saw going almost 60 mph today
I can’t help it and I’ll probably kill myself one day trying to capture the most amazing sunsets while driving….not such a great idea but I do it. I should pull over somewhere, get out and take the pics. But I’m on a mission tonite, a veg oil mission and a get to California mission. I want to go to my home base, pick up the donations
I was able to start driving earlier this morning, as the temperature was over 40 by 9a.m. Still no deep interactions with anyone, although I am moving pretty quickly. I want to make it to the Bay to get my truck smogged in time to leave California and be back in Atlanta by the 4th of January. Then I’m hoping
I got a late start this morning, mostly due to the cold but also looking working out and finding a place to charge my battery. My solar has issues and
There was a time in my life – actually a few times – when I refused to drive through Texas. Way back when I was driving around the country with my partner, we were malevolently introduced to the “Sundown Laws” by menacing white men
I did find a Krogers in Texas but much to my chagrin, there were no cut-up watermelon or any fruit at all. One of my staple road foods. When I found a red-headed white male employee and asked him about where the cut-up fruit was, he informed me that they used to have an entire department of employees
I intended to leave Atlanta yesterday but got caught up once again in my daughter’s extremely busy life. My help was needed until she returned home from her job that allows us all to fly free (except for her work hours) around the country – standby, but free. So I’m happy to help for that reason as well. So finally
My new paint job on the back of my truck! I’ll be heading across the country from Atlanta to
Leaving Ikenne after four days and heading back to Lagos. We’ve pretty much given up
Almost full moon over Ikenne, Nigeria – and sun set
