Our president has all but declared martial law in D.C. Before this morning’s press conference he let loose federal FBI agents onto the streets of D.C. to overpolice Black people, especially tasked with harassing homeless people.
This morning he announced he is sending 800 National Guard troops into D.C.
As the National Guard are the militia for states, and as D.C. has yet to win statehood, I’m wondering – not wondering – which state(s) he’s drawing them from. Hmmmm
