I’m ready for the 18th no kings [fascists] AND 11/5 REFUSE FASCISM
It always tugs at my heart to cover a previous message on the back of my truck – but it is necessary. I don’t have enough space to say everything I deem important and want to say, but today I’m down for a more strident message I really should have painted months ago.
In order to being, the first thing I had to do was find a Home Depot and get orange paint so I could paint the background of my latest missive on the back of my RRB.
Then I returned to the campground and found a table I backed into so I could climb up on it and apply the first coat of orange paint.

I couldn’t reach the two extreme top corners so it was off to find a differently-placed picnic table – one that was long-ways – and I did.
I hurried to begin the paint job while the rain was just a slight drizzle. I left the campground and headed to the neighborhood my new friend gave me a permit to park in front of her home. So I could let the orange dry overnight and today, I borrowed a ladder from my new friend that was taller than the picnic table but not tall enough for me to paint the “We The People” line.
Fortunately, while I was painting a neighbor came out, told me he was a furloughed goverrment worker, and asked if I needed anything. At first, I said no but then I asked if he had a taller ladder I could borrow and he did!
Thus, my new paint job!
