Laugh? NO! SING – yes!!!

As anyone glimpsing at my blog knows, I speak with people all the time. I paint my t-shirts, hold signs, hand out flyers, ask question in order to engage in dialogue with those people occupying this land.

Often I am told I need to laugh. This totally rubs me the wrong way. I could deeply resent being told to laugh, as when I told by men to smile. But even more.

Not because my life is void of laughter but because we are dialoging about something so deadly serious, I cannot even smile let alone laugh.

Instead I respond by saying, we need to sing. So on occasion I post the most inspiring songs that give me the energy and spirit to carry on.
