ON THE ROAD AGAIN…

& am I thrilled! After life has tragically kept me off the road for the last critical 6 months of tRump’s cruel, fascist regime, I’m able to pick my RRB up from Arizona and start the long trek back to the Bay.

Already I’ve gotten several loud & enthusiastic responses to my messages, in the center of tRump-land.

This morning, when topping off my diesel tank at $5.17 per gallon – Arizona price – a 50-ish year old white womon races up to me, grabs me in a hug & begins whispering in my ear about the abject cruelty of tRump & our nation.

She is trembling slightly as her voice & face radiate the pain of knowing this seemingly never-ending cruelty.

She pulls back from our embrace, her eyes shimmering with unshed tears as she proceeds to say in a much stronger voice that she would caravan with my vehicle anywhere.

She was a local Arizona womon, heading to Georgia & talks about her fear of – and her desire to – being as out there as I am.

She did say she gathered her courage & put a bumper sticker on her vehicle and wanted to ask me if I think she should cover it up for her cross-country trip.

It’s a bumper sticker that challenges the anti-christ behavior of xians.

She looks surprised when I tell her it’s a bumper sticker white folks need to see in the south, especially now with voting rights of Black & brown people being threatened if not destroyed.

I assure her that I drive my truck a lot in the south. & share my usual belief about fear: when we act while afraid, it merely gives us the chance to be courageous.

And who doesn’t want to feel courageous?

I’m off to Ajo to visit another courageous womon compañera there and leave donations that have been languishing on my RRB – if they’re wanted

Protection all around you as you fight the good fight.
May folks be generous with their kindness. And open to hearing truth.
May the road ahead be clear, inspiring, and easy.
