SFPD was complicit on the arrest & deportation of a womon from Guatemala and her 10 year old child – here since 2018 seeking asylum.
Within 5 hours of abducting her, she was dumped into the country she was fleeing.
She nor her child were no criminals, not even a traffic ticket or misdemeanor charge. Only going through the complex procedures – even for folks whose first language is english – to stay here legally.
She was getting on a plane to visit family in Florida when tsa reported her to ice, who charged into the gate where she was waiting to board the plane
.SFPD showed up to protect this illegal ice action from bystanders who were demanding they stop, they show identification, they produce arrest warrants signed by a judge.
So today over 50 people showed up at police headquarters in San Francisco to inform fuckin police we hold them accountable.
Lots of press there also but police not visible yet barricades in place and doors locked.
WE WILL NOT COMPLY!
I only fervently hope this womon and child are not facing a violent man or men and that they both live to secure a better life & future for them both.
