I LOVE the newly opened Planet Fitness on San Pablo & 43rd St.
They have figured out a way to protect womyn and gay men from potential male violence in locker rooms and bathrooms or showers: individual rooms for bathroom stalls and showers!
No shared toilets or showers! Minimizing the threat of male violence! Refusing to force womyn to sacrifice our single sex spaces to accommodate men fearful of potential violence of other men.
Plus it’s an easy 2.5 walk from my home, then I can add another 2 miles on the treadmill plus use a few weight lifting machines, take a PRIVATE shower and head on out to the rest of my day!
